Ines RosalesLegislative Coordinator

Ines (she/her/hers) joined Public Advocates in February 2022. Prior to joining Public Advocates, she served as a Policy Assistant at the Alliance for Children’s Rights, a non-profit organization that advocates for child welfare policy reform. There, she oversaw and monitored the status of the organization’s sponsored and priority legislative proposals. Ines also led and participated in coalition groups that advocate for state and local policies to improve support services for children and caregivers in the system.

Ines previously interned at the California Attorney General’s office where she monitored media coverage on relevant policy issues for the Attorney General’s review. She also worked at her university’s undocumented student resource center and helped develop faculty trainings providing an overview of federal and state policies impacting undocumented students and mixed-status families.

Education

Ines received a bachelor’s degree in Government-Journalism from California State University, Sacramento. She enjoys going to spin class, playing with her puppy, and stalking Beyoncé on Instagram.
