We believe that a safe, quality and affordable place to live is a fundamental human right. To ensure that all people can live fulfilling and healthy lives, we must guarantee access to a safe, healthy and affordable home, free from discrimination and the threat of displacement.

The Alliance for Housing Justice is a coalition of organizations, including: Action Center on Race & the Economy, Center for Popular Democracy, Housing Justice for All NY, Housing Now! CA, Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Liberation in a Generation, National Housing Law Project,  PolicyLink, Poverty & Race Research Action Council, PowerSwitch Action, Public Advocates and Right to the City Alliance —seeking to align ourselves as legal, advocacy, organizing and policy groups to advance housing justice.
