Did you know that students whose families are more engaged at their school do better overall?

As a parent, one of the most meaningful ways that you can partner with your child’s school is by participating on a school committee.  These committees are made up of educators, parents and students who partner and meet regularly to make sure the school is working well for every students—espeically those who are struggling most.

Right now, as the school year begins, these committees are being formed and they need diverse members to serve diverse students and schools. Schools need parents like you to provide input, stay informed, ask questions and ensure priorities and needs are being met. Community members have the power to hold school accountable for equity!
