–Alison Vu
Alison Vu (she/her/hers), Senior Communications Manager, joined Public Advocates in January 2024. Alison has worked her entire career in nonprofits, serving missions that include housing and homelessness, feminist organizing, and legal advocacy through fundraising and communications work. She is passionate about serving organizations that champion equity for underserved and disadvantaged communities.
Education & Background
Alison holds a B.A. in Criminology from the University of California, Irvine—focusing on constitutional law and the criminalization of poverty. She is a lifelong Southern California resident and has made various cities in Los Angeles and Orange County her home.
