February 21, 2017 – Former Public Advocates attorney Angela Glover Blackwell is featured in this article by Kurt Alexander of the San Francisco Chronicle. Blackwell has received a nomination for the Visionary of the Year Award from the Chronicle and the School of Economics and Business Administration at St. Mary’s College. Blackwell was an attorney at Public Advocates for 11 years where, among many initiatives, she led a push to expand grocery services in the Bayview. Today, Blackwell is the founder and chief executive officer of PolicyLink, a national research and advocacy group.
