October 22, 2018 – Doug Smith of the Los Angeles Times covers the settlement between Optimus Properties and their tenants in Los Angeles. The lawsuit alleged that Optimus was pressuring Latino and mentally disabled tenants to leave rent controlled units in an effort to raise rents. The settlement will provide about $52,000 each to 13 tenants. Public Advocates served as co-counsel on this case.
