In the next 25 years, a projected 2.1 million new residents will live in the Bay Area – bringing the total population to more than 9 million people. Traffic has gone from bad to worse. The Bay Area freeway commute is moving at its slowest pace in over a decade. Transportation advocates are calling for better public transit and more carpool lanes. Who’s coming up with real solutions? Are city officials taking this issue seriously? A panel of experts discusses the issue, including David Zisser, staff attorney with Public Advocates. The program is KALW’s It’s Your Call with Rose Aguilar.
