Public Advocates is pleased to announce the release of “Keeping the Promise of LCFF: Key Findings & Recommendations After Two Years of LCFF Implementation.” This report grows out of our staff’s work over the past two years in a number of districts throughout the state to support capacity building of students, parents and also district staff to understand the opportunities and legal obligations of the district and incorporate community voice in the LCAP process. We hope that it will be a useful tool for policymakers, county offices of education, district leaders, and community stakeholders as we continue to work to make real the promise of LCFF for greater equity, transparency, accountability and community engagement.
