Public Advocates, The Education Trust-West, Californians Together and the California Association of Bilingual Educators presented these comments to the State Board of Education urging SBE to strengthen its Educator Equity Plan. Our organizations presented five recommendations for the SBE to include before submitting this plan to the U.S. Department of Education, as required by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. This letter is an improvement on the previous plan, which we commented on here.
