Ben Murphy (he/him/his) joined Public Advocates as a Legislative Coordinator in November 2024. He works to support the advocacy goals of the Metropolitan Equity and Education Equity teams in the California State Legislature. Prior to joining Public Advocates, Ben was as an Account Fellow at Bicker, Castillo, Fairbanks and Spitz, where he worked on a wide range of legislative and regulatory policy issues in California.

Ben received a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from Connecticut College in 2023.
