July 8, 2024—Managing Attorney Richard Marcantonio and People’s Transit Alliance member Michael Sebastian provide an overview of the recent AC Transit Board meeting packed with operators relaying story after story of the their inhuman schedules that have led to a hiring and retention crisis. Operators and riders joined in person and online to help influence the new AC Transit Realign Project that has been using AI to create schedules that don’t reflect the current human experience of drivers or riders.
