Over the next six to eight months, we intend to answer some pretty big questions about Public Advocates’ future:
- How will we evolve to better combat poverty and inequality in California?
- Will our litigation and policy areas grow to include other issues facing low-income families, people of color and immigrants?
- Should we expand our geographic reach to maximize statewide impact?
By answering these and other strategic questions, we will set the stage for our next decade of advocacy. And to do that, we’ll need your help. As clients, allies and donors, your perspectives are key and will be part of the rich dialogue that will shape the future.
If past is prologue, then Public Advocates will continue making great strides in advancing equality and opportunity in California well beyond 2020. How that will look will be largely defined this year.
Stay tuned for opportunities to participate in these strategic conversations.
