Threats from the White House and federal agencies do not change California law.  Schools must continue to support and protect all students under California and federal law. 

Schools must provide equal educational opportunities to students and cannot discriminate based on race or ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, religion or other protected characteristics.
