Lisa (she/her/hers) is the Human Resources Manager at Public Advocates, where she guides people-centered practices that help staff thrive and advance the organization’s mission. With more than a decade of HR experience in nonprofit, education, and other mission-driven organizations, she brings a thoughtful and strategic approach to cultivating belonging, growth, and organizational health.
Outside of work, she enjoys backpacking, trail running, and cooking for family and friends.
Education
Lisa earned both her B.M. in Clarinet Performance and B.A. in Music History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an M.M. in Clarinet Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music. She also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute.
