Karissa Provenza (she/her/hers) is a Staff Attorney on the K-12 Local Power Building team. She works with parents, educators, and community advocates to advance the needs of students and strengthen local power in schools. Her work focuses on supporting families to understand their rights, translating state policy into local opportunities, and working alongside families and local partners to advocate for safe, healthy and welcoming schools.
