We won $3 billion in state funds to establish and expand the bold experiment around creating and sustaining racially just community schools—where stakeholders including students, parents, educators and administrators come together to make decisions. After further advocacy, in 2022, this expanded with an additional $1.1 billion investment. We accomplished these wins in partnership with our statewide alliance, CA Partnership for the Future of Learning.
