Public Advocates has a long history of holding the Los Angeles Unified School District accountable for equitable use of its funding. We also provide training on school funding to parents with an analysis of school funding documents. More recently, Public Advocates has focused on supporting the “LAUSD Police Free Schools” campaign to implement the Black Student Achievement Program (BSAP) and advocate for transparency around school police funding.
