Public Advocates supports Black, Latinx, and immigrant families, students, educators, and community based organizations in their movements and campaigns to make the Long beach Unified School District more equitable and racially just. We provide campaign support to “Safer LBUSD” and the “Reimagining School Counseling” campaigns, and co-convene Long Beach Education Connection, a parent-led advocacy group.
