Building Local Power in Monterey County
Public Advocates supports Building Healthy Communities—Monterey County‘s education justice campaigns—to dismantle the school to prison pipeline, implement community schools, and use the local accountability planning (LCAP) process to meet the needs of low-income BIPOC students in six school districts and with the Monterey County Office of Education:
