Tahirah Dean (she/her/hers) joined PA’s Metropolitan Equity Team as a Staff Attorney in November 2023. She works with coalitions to build power in the housing policy sector advocating for more affordable housing and equitable land use policies. Tahirah brings with her a breadth of experience in the housing justice space, having worked at Legal Aid of Marin as an eviction-defense attorney for several years. Prior to that, she worked with immigrants on solutions to live and work in the U.S in the private sector.

Education:

Tahirah graduated from Boston College Law School in 2016 with a Pro Bono distinction. She received her B.A. in Political Science and English from the University of North Texas.
