LA School Report: Advocates file appeal with the state charging LAUSD, county still not accounting for how more than $1B for high-needs students is being spent

October 7, 2019 – L.A. School Report’s Taylor Swaak explains the next steps in Public Advocates’ complaint against LAUSD challenges the accounting and process involved in the preparation of the school district’s LCAP. The LCAP is the district’s spending plan for services targeting low-income students, English learners and foster youth.
